Qu'est-ce que vous préférez à propos de l'anesthésie UNM ? My favorite aspect of UNM Anesthesiology is its dynamic nature—no two days, months, or years are ever the same. I collaborate daily with students, attending anesthesiologists, surgeons, and patients to deliver high-quality care, within the anesthesia care team model, across a wide range of procedures. As medicine evolves, UNM remains committed to innovation by integrating new technologies, equipment, and protocols to ensure the most effective care. More than a decade after completing my MSA program, I continue to learn and grow, reflecting the department’s strong commitment to excellence and lifelong learning.
Qu’est-ce qui vous plaît le plus dans le métier d’éducateur ? What I value most about being an educator is witnessing the “aha” moment—the point at which a concept truly clicks after sustained effort. It is our responsibility to understand individual learning styles, recognize what strategies are effective, and continuously adapt our approach to support each learner’s growth—while still allowing them the space to arrive at their own understanding. In doing so, we foster both confidence and independence. There are even times when I experience my own “aha” moments.
Quelle est votre chose préférée au Nouveau-Mexique ? My favorite thing about New Mexico is its unique blend of culture, landscape, and pace of life. From the wide-open skies and diverse scenery to the rich mix of traditions and communities, there’s a sense of authenticity and connection that’s hard to find elsewhere.
